2. CATALOG, CUSTOM, HOME
The catalog is an alphabetic list of all the commands on the TI-89, both functions and instructions. You can use the catalog any time that you are unsure of the location of a command.
Position the cursor where you want the command inserted, locate the command on the catalog list, and then press ENTER. Commands that are not alphabetic, such as =, are at the end of the catalog.
The catalog also gives information about the commands parameters.
The custom menu can be turned on or off. There is a default custom menu, or you can create your own. The custom menu replaces the normal toolbar menu when it is turned on. The convenience of a custom menu is that it affords you quick access to commands that you use most often. To turn the custom menu on or off press
